Artbound is a Foundation that partners with Canadian charities to fundraise for art-inspired programs in Canada and all over the world.
We believe in the power of the arts to empower those in need, providing them with the tools to reach their full potential.
Artbound leverages the power of art and creativity to connect and empower people facing adversity.
We have a vision that art can act as an agent for social change and it can help to empower and have a positive impact for those who need it the most.
Our goal is to support the arts and inspire people to use their creativity to fundraise Canadian charities.
In 2011, ArtBound funded the Kisaruni all-girls Arts School in Kenya. The school provides arts programming, classes and activities to the girls on a weekly basis.
ArtBound funded an arts-focused community centre in Rajasthan, India — which provides academic and arts education, in addition to clean water, healthcare and helps to generate new income streams.
In November, 2016, Artbound funded our first project in Nicaragua. Our volunteer team and ambassadors traveled to the rural community of El Manzano #1. In partnership with the Canadian charity, Waves of Hope, the group raised funds for year-round Arts programs, hiring five teachers, building 2 additional classrooms and repairing the local school bus.
ArtBound traveled to Guatemala in 2015, to bring bunk beds to a community in need. In addition, fundraising also provided arts supplies to El Amor de Patricia — a home for abandoned, abused and neglected children.
