The Artbound team traveled to Kenya and built an arts school that will have a positive impact both on a personal and economic level.
By providing the girls at Kisaruni Secondary School with a well-rounded education, Artbound and Free The Children recognize that the arts have an important role to play in helping to create sustainable social change. Various forms of art such as beading, arts and crafts, song and dance can also be used as trades that serve as a primary or a supplementary source of income – leveraging tourism both locally and abroad.
